C Family | Nocatee Kayak/Paddle Launch
I'm continuing my blog series where I share some of my favorite locations - to help current and prospective clients decide where to go. It has been on my to-do list to create a location guide exclusively for clients... it keeps getting put on the back burner so for now this will have to do!!
A really great location is the Nocatee Kayak/Paddle Launch, located in Nocatee near the Crosswater neighborhoods. I've been there at sunrise and sunset, and I have to say that sunset steals the show as you'll see with the glowy light coming in behind this family in the road photos. I think it is pretty underutilized by photographers, as I have never seen another photographer back there, but I definitely recommend it for those that want photos that combines the look of woods and water in the same photoshoot.
A word of advice - bring bug spray. The bugs back there are BAD. Typing this is making me itchy- not kidding hahaha. The mosquitos and yellow flies always swarm me - fun times, but hey that's Florida.
